Service
Monthly bookkeeping
A closed, reconciled and reviewed set of books delivered on the same schedule every month. This is the service most of our clients buy first.
What a month looks like
Bookkeeping fails for boring reasons: nobody chased the missing receipt, the merchant deposit was never matched, the owner's card was mixed with the company card. Our routine is designed to catch those things before they become a year-end problem.
Days 1–3 · Collection
Bank and card feeds pull automatically. We request anything missing through the portal in one consolidated list, not five separate emails.
Days 4–6 · Categorisation
Every transaction is coded against your agreed chart of accounts. Anything ambiguous goes to a query list rather than a guess.
Days 7–8 · Reconciliation
Bank, credit card, merchant, loan and payroll clearing accounts are reconciled to statement balances to the cent.
Days 9–10 · Review & close
Elizabeth reviews the file, posts accruals and prepayments, locks the period and releases your report pack.
Included in every bookkeeping plan
Ledger maintenance
Chart of accounts kept fit for your business, with sub-accounts and classes where they genuinely help you make decisions.
Document trail
Receipts and invoices attached to the transactions they support, so nothing depends on somebody remembering a conversation.
Reviewed work
No file leaves this office without a second pair of eyes. The principal signs off every close, every month.
Query list, once a month
All open questions arrive in a single list with a deadline, instead of interrupting your week piece by piece.
Report pack
P&L, balance sheet, cash summary, A/R and A/P ageing, plus a short written commentary you can forward to a lender.
CPA hand-off
A year-end package with trial balance, schedules and adjustment notes, sent directly to your tax preparer in January.
Who this suits
Owner-operated businesses with roughly $150k to $12m of annual revenue, one to sixty employees, and a genuine need for monthly numbers rather than an annual scramble. If you are pre-revenue or filing a single Schedule C with twenty transactions a year, we will tell you honestly that you do not need us yet.
What it costs
Bookkeeping is priced by transaction volume and the number of accounts we reconcile, starting at $325 per month. The pricing page shows every tier. Historic catch-up work is quoted separately as a one-off project so it never inflates your ongoing fee.
